Terre Passeri Soave 2024

Flavor Profile
With sweet notes of peach, pear and hawthorn and just 11.6% alcohol by volume, Terre Passeri is a lovely, easy drinking Italian white you can uncork for any meal or moment.
Think Pinot Grigio but smoother, with a little more volume on the palate and with more pronounced minerality. That’s Terre Passeri, a typical Soave—a white wine made from the indigenous Garganega grape in the Soave DOC of northeastern Italy.
Specifically, it comes to us from the Pirovano family, who have been making wines in the famous hills of Brianza, in the heart of the Veneto region, for five generations now. “We grow alongside our wines, which improve over time, just like us,” they say.
Their wine range has also grown over time, and today, their portfolio is vast, including rich classics, celebratory sparkles and fine wines of superior quality. This bottling is part of their most approachable, everyday line and is a delicious testament to the family’s versatility and skill.
A beautiful soft straw shade of yellow, it’s perfectly balanced, with delicate stone fruit flavors and a lip-smacking nuttiness. The Pirovanos recommend sipping it alongside light appetizers, pasta, rice dishes and seafood. We recommend just pouring some for yourself any old afternoon.
