Flavor Profile
Italy is known for producing bold, rich red wines––but it crafts equally delicious whites worthy of attention. Take Terra di Nonno, an elegant and refreshing Sicilian Vermentino, for example. It will dazzle from the first pour.
Back in the late 1950s, 68 winegrowers in Menfi, a village in Sicily, banded together to form the Cantine Settesoli cooperative. They planted vineyards in what had once been wheat fields and dedicated themselves to producing top-quality wine. Together, they transformed the landscape and reputation of the surrounding region.
Andrea Palermo’s grandfather was one of those 68 innovators. Today, Andrea and his siblings carry on the family legacy, with talented winemaker Domenico De Gregorio in the cellar. This Vermentino is a great tribute to their grandfather.
Hailing from the same vineyards their nonno once tended, Terra di Nonno (‘Grandpa’s Land’), is a refined white with delicate wildflower and honey aromas. Vibrant and refreshing, the palate overflows with ripe orchard fruit flavors and will leave you thirsty for a second glass. Enjoy as an aperitif or pair with salads, grilled fish or creamy Alfredo-sauced pastas.
It’s the perfect white for raising a toast to family. Secure your share today.
